FurstStaffing began in 1971 when Tom and Darlene Furst started what is now FurstStaffing.  Direct hire was the initial focus of the business.  As clients' workforce needs grew, so did FurstStaffing—expanding into temporary staffing and the broader workforce services we provide today across Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.

From the beginning, Darlene believed a successful business could deliver great results while recognizing that employees have lives and responsibilities outside of work. That philosophy helped shape a culture built around trust, flexibility and respect—values that continue to influence how we work with one another, our clients and the people we place.

Today, our internal team averages more than 16 years with FurstStaffing. That experience gives our recruiters something technology alone can't provide: years of knowledge about local employers, jobs, industries and the communities we serve.
